Online shopping has grown steadily from its virtual inception a mere decade ago, with forecasted growth of nearly 10 percent per year through 2013, according to eMarketer. The next shoe to drop will be mobile electronic retail, MEtail™, already a huge force in Europe and Japan, where customers routinely use their mobile devises to buy goods and services. With tech-savvy Gen X, Gen Y and Millennials at the command of ever faster and more intuitive smart phones, "shopping" is taking on new meanings to customers and retailers alike. As a sequel to last year’s successful Global Shop 2011 address, Sanford Stein has created a new retail trending presentation which focuses on the retailers challenge in creating a successful cross channel customer experience, now and for the foreseeable future.
