LIFE FITNESS - LIFESTYLE STORE
The increased international distribution of the Life Fitness brand led to the need for development of a Life Fitness lifestyle store, which, unlike any of its American counterparts, would be a single brand venue.
Taking features and attributes of the store-in-store concept STEIN designed a destination branded environment, which celebrates fitness and the unique brand attributes that distinguish Life Fitness. The flagship store, located in the 9-million square-foot Dubai Mall in the United Arab Emirates, features brightly colored product PODS nesting around monumental images of people working out on each category of equipment.
The product plan is reinforced through curved ceiling planes of metal mesh, which reflects light from ceiling coves overhead. Etched graphics on side-lighted Plexiglas "fins" remind shoppers of the benefits of regular exercise.
